Operations and Forecast

The need for accurate forecasting and staffing makes project plans a stressful guessing game for any organization. Our sponsor saught to streamline and visualize their company's staffing data from previous engagements to improve the accuracy of their future project plans. While working together, we encountered system and organizational limitations such as mandated charting libraries (Recharts) and delinquent data sources.

Through in-depth prototype walkthrough sessions I learned to dig deeper into stakeholder requirements to help better understand their needs rather than taking their requirements at face-value. I cannot stress enough the importance of rapid prototyping to validate ideas in situations such as these and hope to employ the concepts in future engagements.
